This is the first mini dental implant Dr. Gant placed in March, 2004. Dr. Gant has now placed over 3500 mini dental implants for clients throughout central Indiana.
This case was a lower missing first molar. First, impressions were taken and sent to the lab. Then, approximately 3 weeks later, the lab returned a stent, 2 implants and a crown. Jill was given minimal anesthesia, implants were placed and crown cemented in just one visit! Experiencing only minimal pain, Jill was able to eat immediately. Today, her implants and crown are 13 years old and doing fine proving that mini dental implants are not a temporary procedure. Done correctly, they are a long-term solution.
